Know The Truth – Can You Fall From Grace?

Jesus said, “For the law was given by [through] Moses, but grace and truth came by [through] Jesus Christ.” John 1:17. In Galatians 5:2-4 the Holy Spirit said, “Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.” Therefore, if a person keeps one part of the Law of Moses, he is obligated to keep the whole law (all of it). Those who want to be made right by the Law of Moses (including the Ten Commandments) have “fallen from grace” according to the Holy Spirit. What Commandments Do We Keep Today? Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15.

Those who love Jesus will keep His commandments which will judge us on the Day of Judgment. See John 12:48. The Holy Spirit guided Paul to state, “…that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 14:37. That is to say, that the writers of the New Testament, guided by the Holy Spirit, wrote down the commandments of Jesus. Through the ministry of Jesus, we (Jews and Gentiles) have a “better” covenant (testament). Listen to the Holy Spirit, “But now hath He obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also He is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.” Hebrews 8:6-8.  The Holy Spirit also stated, “And for this cause He is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.” Hebrews 9:15-17.

A will (covenant/testament) becomes effective when the one who made it dies, not before. Jesus is the mediator of the New Covenant (Testament). Under the New Testament (Covenant) there is the promise of an eternal inheritance. Can you receive an inheritance if you do not comply with the terms of the will (covenant/testament)? In Christ, we are all one, regardless of our nationality, social status or gender. Galatians 3:28. Jesus is the source of eternal salvation and it is only available to those who obey Him. Hebrews 5:8-9.
